ISG Jubail Builds Open-Mindedness Through Shared Moments
SHARE
At ISG Jubail, our elementary students and teachers continue to bring the monthly focus to life. This month’s focus on open-mindedness was reflected in a familiar and well-loved tradition, gathering together over hot chocolate. The setting created a calm and welcoming space where students could pause, connect and reflect on how they approach the ideas and perspectives of others.
Throughout the month, open-mindedness has been part of daily classroom experiences. Students are always practicing how to listen carefully, consider different viewpoints and respond with respect during discussions and group work. These small, consistent moments help students understand that being open-minded is something they can apply in their learning every day, whether they are solving problems together or sharing their thinking with classmates.
Coming together as a community gave students a chance to reflect on these experiences in a more personal way. Conversations felt thoughtful and genuine as students shared what open-mindedness looks like in their own lives.
