Mathematics Competition Highlights Academic Excellence at ISG Jubail

ISG Jubail is proud to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of students who participated in the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC), alongside Mrs. Preetha Nataraj, during the 2025–26 school year.

These internationally recognized competitions encourage students to think critically, solve complex problems and apply mathematical reasoning in creative ways. Across middle and high school divisions, ISG Jubail students approached the challenge with determination, curiosity and a genuine passion for mathematics.

AMC 8 brought strong results for middle school students, with two students earning first place, one earning second place and two students sharing third place. Several Mathletes also achieved recognition at an international level. Students who scored within the top 5 percent worldwide on the AMC 8 will receive a Certificate of Distinction, honoring exceptional mathematical performance among participants across the globe. Additional recognition will be awarded through the Certificate of Achievement, presented to outstanding students in Grade 6 or below for their performance on the AMC 8.

The competition reflected the commitment students have shown throughout the year as they continued developing their analytical thinking and problem solving skills. Alongside the top placements, many other students participated with enthusiasm and perseverance, representing ISG Jubail with pride and a willingness to challenge themselves academically.

High school students also delivered impressive performances in the AMC 10 and AMC 12 competitions. In the AMC 10 division, a Grade 10 student earned first place, while two Grade 9 students secured second place and another Grade 10 student earned third place. In the AMC 12 division, a Grade 11 earned first place and another student earned second place. Their results reflect countless hours of preparation, thoughtful practice and dedication to continued learning.

Participation in competitions such as the AMC gives students opportunities to grow beyond the classroom by strengthening confidence, resilience and independent thinking. Through each challenge, students learn how to approach unfamiliar problems with patience and persistence while supporting one another along the way.

ISG Jubail also recognizes all students who participated in the AMC competitions this year. Their commitment and positive attitude contributed to a culture of academic growth and encouragement across the school community. Certificates and awards will be distributed during the upcoming Math Awards Assembly, with the date to be announced soon.
