ISG Jubail Senior March Celebrates a Journey Years in the Making

The ISG Jubail community recently gathered for one of the school's most meaningful traditions as the Class of 2026 participated in the annual Senior March. Bringing together students, families, teachers and staff from across campus, the celebration honored the graduates' journey while reflecting the strong relationships that continue to connect every corner of the school community.
The event began with an all-school assembly where seniors were recognized one by one as they walked across the stage to enthusiastic applause from parents, friends, classmates and teachers. The atmosphere was filled with pride as the community celebrated and cheered each graduate and the accomplishments that brought them to this important milestone. Principal Dr. Jamie Martin addressed the Class of 2026 with a heartfelt message, encouraging students to reflect on their growth, embrace future opportunities and carry forward the values and experiences that have shaped their time at ISG Jubail.
A particularly meaningful part of the assembly came when kindergarten students were invited to the stage wearing handmade graduation caps created for the occasion. Standing before the graduating Class of 2026, the young learners offered a touching reflection of the journey that begins long before a student reaches their final year of school. Dr. Jamie Martin encouraged seniors to look at the kindergarten students and remember that they too had once been at the beginning of their educational journey. Seeing the youngest and oldest students together in the same space created a powerful image of growth, learning and the many years of experiences that connect generations of students at ISG Jubail.
Student voices remained at the center of the celebration as this year's two valedictorians addressed their classmates and the wider community. Their reflections highlighted the friendships, lessons and experiences that defined their school years while expressing gratitude for the people who supported them along the way. Speaking to the younger students in the audience, they encouraged them to make the most of every day, treasure the friendships around them and appreciate the many experiences that become lasting memories throughout their time at ISG Jubail.
A special video prepared by middle and high school counselor Mrs. Tricia Jordaan invited everyone to look back on the year through photographs and memories from academics and student life. For many families and staff members, seeing images from students' earliest school days alongside more recent accomplishments created a meaningful reflection on how much the graduates had grown.
The Senior March itself transformed the campus into a celebration of appreciation and connection. Through the Adopt a Senior program, classrooms across the school had spent the year building relationships with graduating students. In preparation for the march, younger students created signs, posters, artwork and messages of encouragement to celebrate their adopted seniors. As the procession began, band students led the way with drums while the graduates followed through hallways lined with cheering students and staff.
For some seniors who have been part of the ISG Jubail community since kindergarten, the experience carried an added layer of meaning as they revisited familiar classrooms and reconnected with teachers who had supported them throughout their educational journey. The Senior March reflected the close-knit nature of the ISG Jubail community, where relationships span grade levels and every student's story becomes part of a larger shared journey.
