The ISG Jubail community recently gathered to celebrate the end of a memorable school year during the Lower Elementary Summer Celebration. Families, students and teachers came together to reflect on a year filled with learning, growth, creativity and friendship. The event provided a joyful opportunity to recognize students' accomplishments while celebrating the many experiences that helped shape their year.
Throughout the celebration, students filled the room with energy as they sang, danced and shared special performances with their families. Adding a personal touch to the event, many of the summer-themed props used during the performances were created by the students themselves alongside their teachers.
Handmade guitars, colorful jellyfish and other creative decorations reflected the imagination and effort students invested throughout the year. Student artwork, created throughout the year with the guidance of art teacher Mrs. Shereen Ibrahim, also helped transform the celebration space, creating a vibrant environment that reflected the personalities and talents of the students. Following the celebration, families were able to take the artwork home, giving them a meaningful keepsake that captured their children's growth, imagination and accomplishments throughout the school year.
One of the most meaningful parts of the event was a special video created by teachers Ms. Yasmeen Hamdallah and Mrs. Morelvys Pina Calatayud. The presentation captured memories from throughout the school year and highlighted the relationships, experiences and everyday moments that make the school community feel so welcoming. As families watched, many were able to see the sense of belonging, confidence and happiness their children experience each day in classrooms, hallways and shared learning spaces.
