ISG Jubail Band Concert Celebrates Every Note of the Journey

The ISG Jubail community recently gathered to celebrate the growth and accomplishments of its student musicians during the annual band concert. Held on June 9, the event welcomed families, friends, teachers and staff for an evening that highlighted the hard work and commitment of approximately 90 band students from across middle and high school.

Throughout the school year, students devoted countless hours to rehearsals, performances and skill development alongside band director Ms. Kris Hammer. The concert provided an opportunity for the community to experience the progress made by students while recognizing the perseverance and teamwork that music education encourages.

Each band performed selections that reflected the unique abilities and growth of its members. Students demonstrated increasing confidence, musicality and collaboration as they took the stage, sharing the results of months of preparation. From younger musicians developing their foundational skills to more experienced performers refining their artistry, every performance reflected a shared commitment to excellence and continuous learning.

A particularly meaningful part of the evening was the recognition of the high school band students completing their final year in the program. As they were honored before family members, peers and teachers, the audience reflected on the contributions these students have made to the band community over the years. Their leadership and passion have helped shape the culture of the program while inspiring younger musicians who will continue the tradition in the years ahead.

Ms. Kris Hammer honored them by reflecting on their musical journey and sharing photos of them as young students holding instruments in their earliest years. The concert concluded with a powerful combined performance of Eclipsys, bringing all band members together on stage.
