Badminton Season Ends with Dedication and Jaguar Spirit at ISG Jubail

While the official badminton season may have come to a close, the enthusiasm and commitment of ISG Jubail's badminton players continued long after. Throughout the weeks that followed, students from both the boys and girls teams remained dedicated to the sport, regularly attending practices and friendly matches alongside coaches Mrs. Gayathri Sankaran and Mrs. Harriet Marston.

Their continued participation reflected a genuine love for the game and a strong sense of commitment to personal growth. Without the pressure of preparing for a specific tournament or competition, students continued to develop their skills, challenge themselves and support one another on the court. Practices became opportunities to strengthen friendships, build confidence and enjoy the sport simply for the joy of playing. Their willingness to continue training demonstrated resilience, discipline and a positive attitude that has become a defining characteristic of ISG Jubail athletics.

Reflecting on the season, coach Mrs. Gayathri Sankaran highlighted the determination shown by the players.

"The dedication of students showing up for practice, while remaining competitive and demonstrating true Jaguar spirit during their final friendly matches, was something very special to see," she said.

For coach Mrs. Harriet Marston, one of the most memorable aspects of the season was the continued participation from students even after competitive play had ended.

"A highlight for me was seeing how many students continued to attend practices and participate even when they were not preparing for a specific competition," she said.

Throughout the season and beyond, students demonstrated sportsmanship, perseverance and a willingness to continue learning. Their commitment created a positive environment where effort, teamwork and enjoyment remained at the center of the experience.

As the badminton season concludes, the ISG Jubail community celebrates the dedication of these student-athletes and the supportive culture created by teammates and coaches alike.
