The cricket and table tennis seasons are underway at ISG Jubail, with our athletes returning to training with plenty of enthusiasm and goals for the season ahead.

During practice, we asked our students what they hope to achieve. One U14 table tennis athlete shared, “My goal is to make it to the main team. I'm working and practicing really hard to make it there.” Another athlete offered a different perspective, saying, “I'm here to have fun and get better at table tennis, whether I make it to SAIKAC or not. I just want to enjoy the sport and be around my friends.”

Together, their responses reflect the different reasons students take part in athletics. For some, the season is about working toward a goal. For others, it is about enjoying the sport, spending time with friends and continuing to improve. Regardless of their individual goals, our athletes continue to support one another as friends and teammates, strengthening the sense of community that makes being part of ISG Jubail so meaningful.

Meanwhile, our cricket players have been working hard in training as they prepare for another season. Last school year, ISG Jubail earned third place in SAIKAC, following a second-place finish the year before.

As our teams continue preparing for competition, we look forward to seeing the sportsmanship and dedication they bring to every match. Regardless of the score, the season is an opportunity for our athletes to learn, support one another and represent ISG Jubail with pride.
