NEW PLAYGROUND AT ISG JUBAIL
I am delighted to share that the elementary school playground at ISG Jubail has officially reopened, and it is wonderful to see the children enjoying their new play space!
This project was an important initiative to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our students to play and explore. It involved re-leveling the area with a new concrete layer and to complete the transformation, a vibrant and durable flooring was added, giving the playground a fresh and inviting look.
Seeing the children’s excitement and joy reminds us why projects like these are so meaningful.
EXCITING PLANS FOR ISG’S WEEK WITHOUT WALLS
During Week Without Walls (WOW Week), which is coming up in February, students from across ISG embark on exciting international trips that offer a unique opportunity to explore diverse cultures and gain valuable experiences outside the classroom.
While they enjoy moments of independence and adventure, the true highlight of these journeys is their involvement in meaningful service projects and activities. Through these hands-on experiences, students not only make a positive impact on the communities they visit but also develop a deeper understanding of global citizenship and empathy, embodying ISG’s mission and values.
For students who will not be traveling during WOW Week, our schools have carefully designed an array of exciting and engaging activities tailored to every grade level. These experiences aim to bring the core purpose of WOW Week—enriching learning through exploration and hands-on experiences—closer to home. Each school is preparing a diverse program that aligns with the spirit of global awareness, creativity, and service, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to broaden their horizons and grow as individuals.
While detailed plans will be shared by each school soon, some of the activities include local field trips to explore community landmarks and institutions, university visits to inspire future academic aspirations and science and innovation workshops to fuel curiosity and critical thinking. Additionally, students will engage in eco-related projects to promote sustainability, cooking and art sessions to spark creativity, and other hands-on experiences that encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and fun.
WOW Week reflects ISG's commitment to providing meaningful and memorable opportunities for all students, fostering growth, learning, and connection, whether abroad or at home.
