ASD Middle School STEM Fair a Great Success

This week, the winners of our middle school STEM Fair were announced during the middle school assembly. A total of 26 students from two different grades were recognized with certificates in various categories for their innovative projects.
Grade 8 Winners Categories:

- 1st Place: Sustainable Growth: A Test of Water Efficiency
- 2nd Place: Power Juices
- 3rd Place: Effect of Beverages on Tooth Enamel
Most Innovative Project:
- Vaper Haters
Most Scientific Project:
- Solar Water Disinfection
Grade 7 Winners Category:
Top Four Most Popular Project:
- pH Scales and Rusting Nails
- Gasses in the Air
- Icy Shape Quest
- Earthquakes
The students worked in teams to create and test their ideas, displaying their projects for all to see. Through collaboration and hands-on learning, they explored new concepts and developed practical solutions, making this event a true showcase of creativity and scientific thinking.
This STEM Fair marks a proud moment for American School Dhahran and its success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and faculty. We are proud of everyone who participated and would like to extend a special thank you to the teachers who played a crucial role in guiding our students: Ms. Zeina Sakr, Ms. Nazli Ahmed and Ms. Raazia Ali.
