ASD IB Student Selected for 2023-24 Margaret Sanders Student Scholarship Award

Through the Association for the Advancement of International Education (AAIE) one of ASD’s IB students was selected for the Margaret Standards Student Scholarship Award.

High school students graduating from NESA member schools were eligible to apply. Only one candidate from each region was put forward for the final selection process.

The scholarships were awarded to the students who demonstrate character strengths such as persistence and motivation, resourcefulness, as well as acceptance of other cultures and points of view. The nominated students also display a genuine interest in, and sustained commitment to the welfare of others, as reflected through participation in school activities, and community/civic involvement.
