Eco Club Begin Plastic Free Campus Initiative

The middle school and high school eco clubs have collaborated to begin a Plastic Free Campus Initiative at ISG Dammam.

This week was our kickoff event, with activities and events during the advisory classes to help educate students on the harmful effects of single-use plastics. Eco Club students also began the process of launching a recycling program at the school, by depositing recycling boxes in classrooms and demonstrating how to sort and organize recycling.

Our Eco Clubs also administered a survey to students to help understand the thoughts and opinions about single use plastic at ISG Dammam and to gain ideas from the students on how we can all combat the issue.  We are excited to see how ISG Dammam can change our campus this year to move towards a Plastic Free Campus!
