ISG Dammam Recognizes Outstanding Achievement at Middle School Speech and Debate Club Awards

This week, ISG Dammam honored the dedication and growth of our middle school students who participated in the Speech and Debate Club during the school year. The award ceremony was a proud moment for all involved, recognizing not only achievement but the growth of crucial life skills.

Under the guidance of teacher Mrs. Nadia Iqbal and Assistant Principal Mr. Trevor Naidoo, students during the year engaged in a series of thought-provoking debates and public speaking sessions. Be it debating global issues or giving speeches on issues nearest to their hearts, our students reflected confidence, critical thinking and understanding of varied perspectives.

Throughout the ceremony, Mr. Naidoo and Mrs. Iqbal awarded each student, in person, a certificate of appreciation for their dedication and regular attendance. The ceremony was filled with pride and nostalgia as students looked over how far they've come since the nervous first speeches to sound arguments presented with confidence.

The ISG Dammam Speech and Debate Club remains committed to encouraging students to find their voice, practice their communication skills and speak for a purpose.

We are incredibly proud of every one of them and eager to see them continue to grow into thoughtful, eloquent leaders. A big bravo to our young debaters and speakers on a year well lived and well spoken!
