Elementary Reading Celebrations

Our elementary students had a wonderful opportunity to share their learning this week through engaging and joyful reading celebrations across two grade levels.

For our younger readers, the focus was on building their reading "superpowers." With excitement, they wore colorful caps and masks to celebrate their progress. Students proudly read their stories aloud to visiting teachers and peers, embracing every word and every page with growing confidence.

Our older elementary students highlighted their growth during a unit dedicated to nonfiction reading. Over the past six weeks, they explored nonfiction texts with curiosity and creativity, diving into new themes and concepts. The celebration allowed them to present their knowledge and share their discoveries in a meaningful and engaging way.

These celebrations are an important part of our elementary learning journey. They give students a sense of pride and responsibility as they share their progress with teachers, peers, and other members of our school community.
We are grateful for the incredible dedication of our elementary teachers and support staff, who work tirelessly to create these memorable learning experiences. Their efforts inspire our students to embrace their achievements with confidence and enthusiasm.
