Elementary Super Readers

On January 18, our young elementary students continued to strengthen their reading skills and their hard work was honored with a celebration of learning. The students donned capes and masks to show how they have grown into super readers and then read stories to their peers. 

Celebrating reading with elementary students cultivates a lifelong long for learning and enriches their imagination. By creating a positive and enjoyable reading experience, students develop essential language skills, critical thinking skills and a strong foundation for academic success.  These celebrations also foster a sense of community and instill the feeling that reading is not just a skill, but a source of joy and endless possibilities.
