At British School Dhahran, we are excited to offer the Lego League after-school activity (ASA) for students interested in robotics. In this activity, students learn to build and program robots using Lego kits. They follow step-by-step instructions to create their robots and program them to complete specific tasks. This activity helps students develop problem-solving skills, teamwork and creativity as they work together to overcome challenges.
The Lego League ASA is a great way for students to explore the world of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). By working in teams, students practice communication and collaboration skills, which are important for their future. They also gain confidence as they figure out solutions to problems, both on their own and with others.
At the end of the activity, students will take part in the Lego League competition, where they can show off their robots and the skills they’ve learned. It’s a fun and exciting event that gives them a chance to compete with other schools. We’re proud of our students and excited to see them grow through this experience!
