February 7th World Read Aloud Day

On Wednesday, February 7, ISG Dammam celebrated World Read Aloud Day, an international day designated to support and encourage reading aloud.

Reading aloud supports comprehension, helps develop listening skills, reduces stress and boosts brain power among many other substantive benefits.  The day included students hearing books read aloud by their peers, teachers, librarians and our administrators.

The day ended with a whole school read aloud on the football field. Students read to each other and parents came in to read to our elementary school students.

We are grateful to share a love of reading with our families to encourage and support reading with the students of ISG Dammam.
