ISG Dammam staff and students were filled with excitement as they came together to celebrate Saudi National Day on Thursday, September 19. The campus was abuzz with energy, as both students and staff donned traditional Saudi attire and festive green and white clothing, embracing the patriotic spirit of the day. The vibrant atmosphere extended throughout the school, with hallways beautifully decorated by the students, creating a stunning backdrop that showcased their pride in the Kingdom.
The celebration was filled with various activities, including a traditional photo booth complete with tents, carpets and cushions, offering a glimpse into Saudi culture. Students also enjoyed traditional treats that added to the festive air. The elementary school took center stage with a heartwarming performance of the Saudi National Anthem, accompanied by instruments and lively singing, much to the delight of a packed audience of parents.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the traditional sword dance performed by the students. Their graceful movements, combined with the rich cultural significance of the dance, left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. The day was a perfect reflection of the love and respect we have for Saudi Arabia, celebrating the culture and history of the land we are proud to call home.
