On Sunday, September 15, ISG Dammam officially kicked off its After-School Activities (ASA) program for students in grades 1-12. This eagerly anticipated start marked the beginning of a vibrant array of opportunities for students to explore interests beyond the traditional classroom setting.
The ASA program offers a diverse range of activities designed to cater to a wide variety of interests. From the calming practice of yoga to the intricate art of origami, and everything in between, students have the chance to engage in activities that spark their curiosity and creativity. They can join drama clubs to explore their theatrical talents, participate in eco clubs to learn about environmental stewardship, or get involved in Model United Nations to develop their diplomatic skills. The range of options ensures that there is something for everyone.
High school clubs, in particular, are student-led and developed, allowing for a responsive and tailored approach to the interests and passions of our students. This structure not only empowers students to take initiative but also ensures that the ASA program evolves with their evolving interests. The enthusiasm from both students and staff was palpable as they embarked on this week’s activities. The launch of the ASAs at ISG Dammam has set the stage for a dynamic and engaging school year, filled with opportunities for growth, exploration and fun.
