ISG Dammam NHS and NJHS Induction Ceremonies

On November 6, the ISG Dammam National Honors Society (NHS) chapter had 24 returning members and inducted 23 additional members into the society. These students applied through a rigorous application process and were selected by the NHS faculty council. The ISG Dammam NJHS chapter had 12 returning members and inducted nine additional members.

Throughout the year, the NHS and NJHS chapters at ISG Dammam will engage in service for the school and the community. In addition to their own personal community service, the NHS at ISG Dammam provides peer tutoring, engages in school community building activities and community clean up service.

NHS is recognized globally as the benchmark society for successful high school students. Members of the NHS demonstrate exemplary qualities in the four pillars of scholarship, service, leadership and character and once inducted, members continue to develop these qualities in themselves and others. The National Junior Honors Society (NJHS) is the partner organization, holding the same values but designed for students in Grade 8 and 9.

NHS is a values based membership organization established in the United States for more than 100 years. The Society was created to recognize, empower and champion well rounded high school students and elevate a culture of scholarship, service, leadership and character.
