ISG Dammam Students Win Most Compassionate Award in the ISG Innovation Challenge during WOW Week

ISG Dammam students truly embraced the spirit of innovation and compassion during the ISG Innovation Challenge, held in collaboration with 8BillinonIdeas and the ISG Teaching and Learning Office as part of WOW Week.

Throughout three exhilarating days, our students dove headfirst into problem-solving, crafting solutions, building prototypes and pitching their ideas to their peers and teachers. It was a whirlwind of creativity and collaboration.

After much deliberation, winners emerged from both the middle school and high school divisions of ISG schools. These talented teams then gathered at the Aziziyah ISG campus to compete against one another in the ultimate showdown.

We couldn't be prouder of our ISG Dammam students, who walked away with the prestigious Most Compassionate Project award in both the middle and high school categories. The middle school champs tackled the issue of litter and waste head-on, proposing a robotic vacuum that not only cleaned up litter but also composted reusable materials to enrich soil. Meanwhile, the high school winners presented an innovative project aimed at supporting diabetic athletes with an artificial pancreas, offering a lifeline in managing their health during physical activities.

These achievements speak volumes about the compassion, creativity and dedication of our students. Their incredible efforts during WOW Week truly showcased the best of ISG Dammam's student community and its commitment to making a positive impact through innovation.
