This week, our Parent Teacher Group (PTG) hosted a heartwarming event, "Moms and Muffins," which brought together mothers and our elementary students for a special bonding experience. The event provided a space for mothers and their little ones to connect and engage in meaningful conversation, centered around gratitude.
Participants shared muffins while discussing what they were thankful for, using conversation starters that encouraged reflection and connection. Following this, the children created a gratitude chain, writing down things they are thankful for. The chain was displayed throughout the school as a visible reminder of the values we hold dear—community, support and the lasting bonds that are created when we come together.
At ASD, we are proud of events like this that strengthen the relationship between our school and the families we serve and we look forward to more opportunities to create meaningful experiences for everyone.
