This week marked the final wave of presentations for ISG Dammam’s One Ocean Project, a student-led initiative aimed at raising awareness about ocean conservation and climate change. Throughout the past few weeks, students have taken the stage in the middle school auditorium to showcase their research, creativity and passion for protecting our planet’s oceans.
In this final week, students wrapped up their series of informative and thought-provoking presentations covering topics such as the importance of ocean literacy, the impact of plastic pollution, ocean-climate connections and upstream and downstream solutions.
Using engaging visuals, collaborative teamwork and powerful storytelling, they explored real-world environmental challenges and emphasized the importance of sustainability and innovation in preserving marine ecosystems.
We are incredibly proud of the effort and dedication shown by all participants. The One Ocean Project has not only deepened students’ understanding of environmental issues but also empowered them to become advocates for positive change. Their voices are shaping a more informed, compassionate and eco-conscious school community.
