Professional Development Committee Retreat

On January 10, The ISG Dammam Professional Development Committee participated in the ISG Professional Development Committee retreat at ISG Jubail.

The retreat, put together by the ISG Teaching and Learning Office, was attended by representatives from each of the schools in the district.  The ISG Dammam PD Committee includes Ms. Bhavana Dinesh, Ms. Maheswari Srinivasan, Ms. Nadia Iqbal, and Ms. Shina George.

Committee members participated in enriching and engaging discussions including a review of induction, a debriefing of ISG Learns and how to incorporate PD in professional learning. The retreat also focused on launching artificial intelligence across the district, which led to the exchange of interesting and innovative ideas.

During the January 16 minimum day, the ISG Dammam PD Committee provided training to the middle school and high school staff on using artificial intelligence in the classroom.
