Senior School STEM Challenge

On June 7, 2023, Senior School students and teachers held their 3rd annual STEM day.

It involved three activities: a zipline, a parachute soft landing for a spacecraft and a spaghetti bridge that students built in rotation. 

Each group had four students and altogether 130 students and 12 teachers from science and maths were involved.  Students received awards for first, second and third place. 

Thanks to our science and maths faculty Ms Hera Flandez, Ms Tania Schnetler, Ms Rida Alayass, Ms Hema Kosandar, Ms Rola Eltimani, Ms Lina Ahmed and Dr Tuna ALtay, Ms Iwona Almaghrabi and Mr Andrew Hepworth and also to Ms Chowdhry who also led activities.
