Primary students had a surprise mystery reader show up to the library this morning. Dr. Mack surprised our young learners by showing up as a mystery guest and reading a story to them.

Mystery readers foster a genuine interest in reading among students. The element of surprise captivates children’s attention and contributes to developing a lifelong love for storytelling.

It also exposes children to the diverse reading styles and broadens their literary horizons, instilling an appreciation for various genres and perspectives.  Furthermore, the practice strengthens our school’s ties with the community, involving parents and staff members in the educational journey of the students.
