BSD Ski Trip

Earlier this month, 41 adventurous BSD students went to the Swiss Alps for their first school ski trip since 2020.  For most students, this was their first time skiing, and for some, it was their first time ever seeing snow.

When they reached the mountains at La Tzoumaz and Verbier, our BSD skiers couldn't wait to get started and under the guidance of their instructors, they were soon learning how to stand up, fall down, how to turn and most importantly how to stop. It didn’t take them long to develop the skill and  confidence to ski on their own.

The evenings were full of fun and adventure as well with a forest torchlit walk, crazy team games and a shopping trip to Verbier to name but a few.

Overall, everyone had an unbelievable experience with thousands of smiles and memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you to our BSD teachers Mr. Tobias Haslam, Mr. Brett Howard, Ms. Kelly Colleran, Ms. Jacqui Isa and Ms. Judy Menil who went on this trip with our students and supervised and supported them the entire time they were away from home.
