At ISG Dammam, students are at the center of all we do. This commitment guides conversations about school life and the experiences that shape each student's day. During the ISG Dammam Campus Council meeting, parents, student representatives and school staff came together to share feedback, discuss current initiatives and identify opportunities to improve the school community.

The open forum gave parents an opportunity to raise questions about school communication, family involvement and scheduling. Discussions included ways to improve the delivery of school emails, strengthen communication between families and staff and make it easier for parents to share their feedback. The need for a parent liaison was also raised as a way to strengthen connections between families and the school.

Student representatives contributed their perspectives on daily school life, recognizing improvements to school facilities and the cafeteria while suggesting areas for further attention. Their feedback covered the high school seating area, the mosque and the length of class periods, particularly the need for breaks during longer lessons. They also expressed interest in more activities for middle and high school, including additional schoolwide events and a potential job fair to help students explore future career opportunities.

Other topics included virtual learning and the importance of interacting with teachers during online school days, reducing assignments during school breaks and improving drop-off arrangements. These discussions helped identify issues for the relevant school teams to review.

Alongside community feedback, school representatives shared ongoing priorities for the year, including strengthening school climate and culture, improving family engagement and supporting quality instruction in every classroom. Current areas of focus include effective teaching strategies, student progress assessments and additional academic support. The school is also reviewing approaches to positive discipline.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for parents, student representatives and school staff to exchange perspectives and discuss practical ways to improve school life. By keeping communication open and giving families and students a voice in these conversations, ISG Dammam continues to place student needs at the heart of its decisions and work toward a stronger school community.
