Middle School students at ISG Dammam brought their Social Studies learning to life through their unit celebration, Forces That Shape the Earth. The exhibition gave students an opportunity to share what they had learned about our planet while welcoming visiting students to explore the displays and learn from their peers.

Throughout the exhibition, students presented their understanding through original posters, physical models and student-led presentations. They explored the internal and external forces that shape Earth's surface, from plate tectonics, volcanism and convection currents to weathering, erosion and deposition. Their explanations were supported by hands-on learning, including cardboard models of tectonic plates and experiments demonstrating volcanic eruptions. These practical examples helped visitors see how geological processes work and better understand how different landforms develop over time.

Taking on the role of student experts, participants guided visitors through their work, answered questions and explained the concepts they had explored throughout the unit. The rotating visits created opportunities for students to exchange ideas, ask questions and learn from one another in an engaging environment.

The celebration reflected the value of giving students opportunities to share their knowledge with their school community. Through their preparation, creative approaches and presentations, students demonstrated their understanding of Earth's changing landscape while building confidence in communicating their ideas. It was a meaningful way to recognize their hard work and celebrate the curiosity that drives learning at ISG Dammam.
