Library Summer Reading Challenge
SHARE
Over the summer, the ISG Dammam Library challenged students in elementary and middle school to complete at least five different reading adventures, offering a variety of activities designed to encourage students to explore reading in creative and enjoyable ways. Adventures included reading with family, reading a Newbery Award-winning book, reading a book published in the year they were born and writing an alternate ending to a favourite book.
Students embraced the challenge and demonstrated their enthusiasm for reading throughout the summer. On Tuesday, students who completed at least five reading adventures were recognised during a certificate ceremony and received a book as a token of appreciation for their dedication to reading. We are proud of our students for rising to the challenge and grateful to our librarians for creating opportunities that inspire a love of reading beyond the classroom.
