American School Dhahran (ASD) and British School Dhahran (BSD) hosted a memorable International Day, bringing together students, staff and families to celebrate the rich cultural diversity that makes our schools so unique and connected.

The event began with a vibrant parade featuring students, staff and families proudly representing their home countries. The displays were colorful, the food was delicious and the traditional clothing beautifully reflected the cultures within our ASD and BSD communities. It was heartwarming to see our community sharing the flavors, traditions and stories of their homelands, creating meaningful connections across generations and backgrounds.

Throughout the day, families and students enjoyed a variety of engaging activities that encouraged learning and cultural exchange. From interactive booths and games to music and art displays, International Day provided opportunities for our community to connect, learn from one another and celebrate what makes us truly global.

The excitement continued with our high school student talent show and fashion show, which showcased impressive performances and creativity. From music and dance to fashion inspired by cultures around the world, our students’ enthusiasm and dedication were on full display, a true testament to the strong sense of unity and school spirit at American School Dhahran.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our Parent Teacher Group members, faculty, staff and parents for their tireless work and support. Their contributions play a vital role in making International Day a success year after year.

This year’s event was a wonderful blend of learning, fun and celebration, highlighting our shared values and the diverse cultures that enrich our community. International Day truly reflected what our schools stand for; respect and the joy of coming together as one global family.
