Launching the 2026–27 Key Stage 2 Student Council at British School Dhahran

On 16 September, British School Dhahran launched its key stage 2 (KS2) student council for the 2026–27 school year, bringing together elected representatives from KS2 for a special launch assembly focused on student leadership, voice and active participation in school life. 

The Student Council will meet fortnightly, providing students with a meaningful platform to share ideas, contribute to school initiatives and take an active role in shaping their wider school community. 

This year’s programme will include ongoing charity initiatives as well as new opportunities to support the Eco-Schools garden project, encouraging students to develop leadership, teamwork, responsibility and a sense of community. The Council held its first official meeting on 22 September, marking the beginning of an exciting year of student-led ideas and positive action at BSD.
