ISG Jubail Guides Families Through the High School Journey

ISG Jubail recently hosted an informative session for parents and students to help prepare them for the transition from middle school to high school. The event aimed to provide valuable insights into what lies ahead as students step into this new and exciting phase of their educational journey.

The session covered essential topics, including the differences between middle school and high school, such as grading systems, GPA calculations and the long-term significance of transcripts. Parents and students also gained guidance on how to build a strong high school résumé, plan for future careers and make informed choices when selecting subjects for the upcoming years.

The event emphasized the importance of becoming proactive in high school, setting academic goals and developing skills that will be beneficial for college and career pathways.

In addition to academic advice, the session provided practical tips for managing the increased responsibility that comes with high school. Parents learned how to best support their students through this transition, while students received helpful advice on balancing schoolwork, extracurricular activities and personal time.

By focusing on the key elements of high school life, the event helped families better understand the transition to high school and set the stage for a smooth and successful start to high school. It was an important step in preparing students for the final and most formative phase of their school career, ensuring that they enter high school with confidence, a clear vision and a strong sense of direction.

Thank you to all middle and high school teachers and staff for their support in making this event a success!
