ISG Jubail Takes the Plate in SAIKAC U16 Basketball Tournament

The spirit of competition and camaraderie was alive and thriving as ISG Jubail proudly participated in the SAIKAC Basketball Tournament on March 21 and 22, showcasing the athletic prowess and sportsmanship of our student-athletes. Held at American School Dhahran, the event brought together ISG Jubail, ASD, British School Dhahran and ISG Dammam for a thrilling display of basketball talent.

The ISG Jubail basketball teams, comprising our dedicated U16 players demonstrating exceptional skill, teamwork and determination on the court. Coached by Lucienne Jardinero, our team underwent rigorous training sessions leading up to the SAIKAC tournament, honing their abilities and strategizing for success.

Throughout the tournament, our players exhibited outstanding sportsmanship, showing respect for their opponents and officials while maintaining a competitive edge. Their positive attitude and commitment to fair play were a testament to the values instilled within our school community.

As the final buzzer sounded and the tournament came to a close, the ISG Jubail Jaguars emerged with heads held high, proud of their accomplishment of being named Plate Bracket Champions and grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a prestigious event. 

Looking ahead, ISG Jubail remains committed to nurturing the talents and passions of our student-athletes, providing them with the support and encouragement they need to thrive both on and off the court. As we reflect on our experiences at the SAIKAC Basketball tournament, we are reminded of the invaluable lessons learned through sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication, lessons that define our basketball program and will undoubtedly shape our students into leaders of tomorrow.
