Middle Schoolers at ISG Jubail Explore the Meaning of Balance
SHARE
In April, ISG Jubail Middle School held a student-led assembly centered on the theme of balance, aligning with ISG’s monthly Profile of a Graduate focus. The event was organized by middle and high school counselor Mrs. Tricia Jordaan along with the Middle School Student Council, guided by Mrs. Kimberly Inge.
Ahead of the assembly, middle school students were invited to complete an anonymous survey about the challenges they face in maintaining balance. This included managing academics, sports, extracurricular activities and social life. During the assembly, students were divided into small groups and assigned specific challenges to discuss.
The goal was to encourage open conversation, provide relatable experiences, and work together with teachers to identify practical solutions. The atmosphere was thoughtful and supportive, helping students reflect on their own habits while learning from their peers.
Thank you to all the middle school teachers and students who contributed to making the assembly both engaging and meaningful.
