Poetry Cafe

During lunch break on November 8, elementary students hosted a vibrant poetry cafe that drew the attention of the entire school community.  The young poets showcased their creative expressions with enthusiasm, and created an atmosphere filled with laughter and applause. 

Teachers, staff and students alike enjoyed the expressive ISG Jubail Poetry Cafe. Learning to write poetry is important for children. It helps cultivate creativity, enhances language skills and is an outlet for self-expression. Additionally, poetry fosters emotional intelligence, and helps children navigate and articulate their feelings while developing an appreciation for language and the power of the written word. 

ISG Jubail would like to thank Ms. Kimberly Inge for putting this event together and encouraging our students to use their voice creatively.
