ISG Superintendent's Message

Dear Parents,

The holy month of Ramadan is a time to embrace reflection and cherish time with family and friends. I extend my heartfelt wishes to our community for a joyous and blessed Ramadan.

• Please be advised, starting March 10, ISG will be operating adjusted Ramadan hours as follows:
• Student school hours: 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
• Staff work hours: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Your understanding and cooperation during this time are greatly appreciated.

I would like to remind you that re-enrollment for the 2024-25 school year is due March 15. Please be sure to submit your re-enrollment decision to ensure your child’s seat is reserved for the upcoming academic year. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have any questions.

Our grade spotlight this week is on Grade 4 and Year 5 across ISG. Please click here to have a glimpse of how learning happens inside our classrooms.

During Week without Walls in February, ISG students went on 19 WOW trips: 16 trips international trips and three trips in the kingdom, and learned about new countries and cultures and participated in a number of social and environmental responsibility activities. Some of these activities included volunteering to paint and renovate local schools, spending time and donating supplies at orphanages, helping at an elephant sanctuary, working with a turtle conservation team, conducting beach cleanups, providing English lessons to non-speaking village communities, learning about coral reefs and mangroves and their role in preserving the ocean’s ecosystem, learning about sustainable farming and how communities harvest their resources to support their livelihood, conducting a forest walk and clean up, learning about sustainability projects and the effects of global warming on the mountain environment, participating in sustainable design projects and much more. We are very proud of our students participating in volunteer tourism and for contributing to the communities they visited. Please see photos from their trips in the recap here.

During Week Without Walls, ISG middle school, high school and senior school students participated in the ISG Innovation Challenge. If you missed the results please read this article. We have also compiled this video as a full recap of the four-day challenge from across the district.
