Dear Parents,
I am pleased to announce that the 2024-25 tuition has been approved and is now published. Please note that all families will also receive a tuition announcement from their school principal.
I am pleased to share the 2024-25 calendar. Our school websites have also been updated.
I would like to congratulate our teacher Mrs. Jessica Arnzen on winning first place in the Saudi Games’ triathlon, held in Riyadh last weekend. Mrs. Arnzen competed against 14 female athletes from around the Kingdom in a Super League Triathlon, which consisted of two rounds of 200 meter swim, 5 km bike and 1 km run. She has been a competitive athlete ever since her early years in elementary school, and her achievement is a testament to the heights one can achieve with persistence and dedication. We hope her story and achievement will inspire our students and community to approach their own passions and crafts with the same enthusiasm.
On Saturday, December 2, the ISG Alumni Association hosted the first Alumni Sports Meet, which brought together former students from ISG, staff members and their families as well as the ISG Dammam U19 volleyball team for an evening of friendly soccer and volleyball competition. The activities reflected a sense of unity and camaraderie among the guests, and the event offered the opportunity for alumni to catch up and share experiences. We look forward to hosting more alumni events in the future.
On December 2, U12, U14, U16 and U19 athletes from ASD, BSD and ISG Dammam ignited the field in the recently introduced Track & Field ISG Jamboree. Everyone joined with cheers and healthy competition as students showcased their prowess in sprints, long jumps, high jumps, javelin throws and shot put. The positive energy among participants was evident and fostered an atmosphere of encouragement and mutual support. Beyond the competitive spirit, the jamboree became a celebration of teamwork and individual achievements and highlighted the importance of sportsmanship and collaboration. This successful event would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of Ms. Jennifer Gilbert in BSD. Thanks also to all our coaches Ms. Sara Moustafa and Ms. Darine Al-Khouri from ISG Dammam; Mr. Kern Cruddas, Ms. Dufney Botha, Ms. Nourhan Arnoot, Ms. Belinda Martin, Ms. Eimear McDaid, Ms. Maria Anasco, Ms. Marivic Aspera, Ms. Fatmaa Gomaa, Ms. Kathleen Rodriguez, Ms. Catherine Abad and Ms. Lilly Beth from BSD; and Ms. Lorin Ressler, Ms. Zeina Jreije, Ms. Janelle Townsend, Mr. Robert Townsend and Mr. Sid Paul from ASD.
Our Arabic educators from all five schools recently convened for a collaborative session and engaged in comprehensive curriculum planning for every grade level. These meetings aim to foster greater coherence among teachers, administrators and parents, and recognize the pivotal role each plays in our students’ educational journey. During these meetings, teachers dive into the details of the Arabic curriculum, aligning teaching methodologies and educational objectives to create a unified approach. By fostering open communication and mutual understanding, the meetings seek to enhance the overall educational experience of each student. The meeting also empowers our teachers with resources and strategies to effectively address diverse learning needs. Through this proactive engagement, ISG aspires to not only meet but exceed expected outcomes, nurturing a vibrant Arabic program that reflects the shared commitment of educators, administrators and parents to the success of every student.
