Dear ISG Community,

Our grade spotlight this week is on math in Grade 6 and Year 7 across ISG. In our classrooms, mathematics is brought to life through engaging hands-on activities, fostering a dynamic learning environment. This progressive approach to teaching math allows students to actively explore concepts, encouraging deeper understanding and retention. Through these interactive experiences, students develop problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities, preparing them for real-world applications beyond the classroom. Please click here to see how learning happens inside our classrooms.

As a component of our MSA accreditation process, we value input from our ISG community. Please take a few minutes to respond to this survey regarding facilities at our schools. Your feedback is highly appreciated.

The ISG Jubail school community came together to commemorate International Day in a vibrant celebration of cultures from around the globe. The highlight of the festivities was the spectacular International Day parade, showcasing the rich tapestry of cultures represented within the school.  I would like to thank the ISG Jubail PTO and families for all their efforts in planning and organizing the International Day event for our community. Please watch a recap of the event here.

During the 2022-23 academic year, and as part of their empathy lessons, Sara Village School students watched videos exploring the lives of people in Nepal, and followed the lives of two school teachers in the city and a remote indigenous community. After following their stories, our students learned how different life can be in different parts of the world, and gained an appreciation for the opportunities available to them. For their Empathy in Action project, the students collaborated to plan and produce a family-friendly event that raised awareness and to support their new friends in Nepal. Their compassion, teamwork and creativity went a long way in making a difference in the community. Please watch the video here to see how the SVS students’ compassion and action impacted the lives of children halfway around the world. We are very proud of our students. Their work and compassion for others are an inspiration to us all.
