LIVING THE ISG MISSION STATEMENT
At International Schools Group (ISG), we are a mission-driven school with guiding principles for our leadership and direction. Our mission is to "inspire innovation and compassionate action" drives our initiatives and activities, shaping our vibrant community of learners, it keeps us grounded and focused in our decision making. Our students are actively participating in events, experiences, and programs that exemplify this mission, blending academic excellence with community engagement and service. The richness and balance in the ISG educational opportunities are what engage our students further in learning.
Exciting Competitions and Fairs
Our students are eagerly preparing for the FIRST Lego League competitions, where they'll demonstrate their ingenuity through robotics projects. Alongside this, STEM fairs across our schools provide a stage for students to present their scientific inquiries and technological innovations.
New After-School Activities
With the launch of new after-school activities, students are exploring diverse interests and building new skills, offering students a chance to discover and excel in areas they love and are interested in.
Compassionate Action in Action
Compassionate action is a cornerstone of our community, and our compassion clubs on each campus are actively organizing charitable events to support local causes. Similarly, our eco clubs are leading environmental initiatives, promoting sustainability within and beyond our school walls.
We are particularly excited about the upcoming Week Without Walls in February, where students will travel and participate in service projects at their destinations. As students engage with different communities they learn empathy and develop global citizenship.
Community Engagement
Our community spirit is further celebrated through events like International Day at ASD and BSD, showcasing the cultural diversity of our student body. ISG Jubail’s Jaguar Jubilee and ISG Dammam’s Spring Carnival will also bring families together for festivities, strengthening the bonds within our ISG community.
Through these opportunities, ISG continues to cultivate an environment where innovation and compassion thrive, preparing our students to be thoughtful leaders and changemakers. We look forward to seeing how they will carry these values into their futures.

MIDDLE STATES ASSOCIATION ACCREDITATION UPDATE
As previously shared without community, ISG is accredited by the Middle States Association. Accreditation is important for ISG to ensure we continue to remain relevant, high quality, and forward thinking in the learning we provide for our students. MSA is a reputable and recognized external organization that ensures that the quality of our school is what it should be, whether it is how the school is run or how we allocate resources to the quality of learning for our students. The MSA criteria set expectations for ISG to meet day-to-day and over time.
As ISG continues to move forward with our accreditation assessment, we are synthesizing ideas and recommendations that will guide the future of the learning for all of our students in the years to come.
Thank you to those in our community who have participated and engaged in this important process. We have concluded the work of analyzing and evaluating. Our groups are now creating the final report to be shared with MSA before their visit. The report will bring together all of the gathered information in relation to the MSA standards and our assessment of how we are doing and what needs to be done next.
Below is an outline of the next steps in the the MSA Accreditation process:
January/February: The ISG board and leadership team finalize our ISG Strategic Priorities, create goals and begin to plan for their implementation in the fall of 2025.
March: A preliminary visit will be made by the MSA accreditation representative.
April 26-30: The full MSA accreditation committee will visit ISG for our official visit.
May: The ISG board will formally approve the final version of the goals that align with ISG’s Strategic Priorities.
