Dear Parents,
We are pleased to announce the adjusted operating hours during the holy month of Ramadan. Starting March 10, our new schedule will be in effect:
- Staff working hours: 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
- Student school hours: 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
8BillionIdeas ISG Innovation Challenge During WOW Week
I am pleased to share that ISG is collaborating with 8BillionIdeas, an England-based business that will run the ISG Innovation Challenge at ASD, BSD, ISG Dammam and ISG Jubail during Week Without Walls (WoW week) in February.
Students in middle school and high school (ASD, ISG Dammam and ISG Jubail) and senior school (BSD) that are not signed up for travel experiences will participate in this challenge. They will develop their own startups, practice the art of the pitch and finally participate in a competition where one team from each school will be named the winner.
Day 1 and 2: Students will work with a small group of their peers to create a prototype and marketing pitch.
Day 3: Students will finalize their presentation and compete against teams in their school.
Day 4: The top teams from each school will compete against each other for the best pitches at ISG.
More information will be shared by each school over the next few weeks.
ISG Typing Competition
The ISG Typing Challenge is still underway.
This is a great opportunity to elevate your typing skills, sharpen your speed and accuracy, challenge yourself and boost your productivity. Students, parents and staff can still sign up by clicking here.
SVS Celebrates International Day
On Thursday, January 18, Sara Village School celebrated International Day.
Students, families and teachers joined together to appreciate one another’s cultures by joining a parade, enjoying delicious food and participating in a variety of classroom activities.
Thank you to all the parents, teachers and students that worked on making International Day a tremendous success.
