LIVING OUR ISG CORE VALUE OF ACCEPTANCE
At ISG, our core values — acceptance, integrity, respect and responsibility with a commitment to act — are at the heart of our actions and interactions.
These values guide our daily interactions, shape our school culture and reflect the kind of global citizens we aim to develop in our students. Among these, acceptance plays a powerful role in fostering a diverse, inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students and staff feel seen, heard and valued.
With over 50 nationalities represented across our schools, acceptance is not just a value we teach — it is something we live every day.
As we look ahead with our new strategic priorities represented in the above pillars, we continue to build on this foundation of acceptance. Our priorities — high quality learning, wellbeing and belonging and professional excellence — all reflect a deep commitment to equity, inclusion and belonging.
Whether it’s through personalized learning pathways, initiatives that support the wellbeing of all, or embracing diverse perspectives, backgrounds and talents, ISG is where everyone feels welcomed and respected — we create an environment where individuals feel safe to contribute, take risks and grow.
We believe that when acceptance is embraced, meaningful learning and authentic connections follow.
REMINDER: ROUTING PARENT COMMUNICATION
At ISG, we welcome an ongoing partnership with parents through communication and feedback. Communication and feedback are most effective if the interaction is with the person closest to the situation. To support this approach, please see the above infographic to support this partnership.
If you have a question, concern or feedback, please reach out to your child's teacher. If the matter requires further attention, the teacher will share the feedback with the assistant principal for your child’s campus. If additional support is needed, the feedback will be shared with the campus principal. Should the situation require further guidance or support at the district level, the principal will share with the assistant superintendent or superintendent.
In cases where a parent communication relates to a potential breach of ISG Board policy, the superintendent should be alerted for follow-up and then if further engagement is needed, the matter can be shared with the Board of Trustees for further review.
This approach ensures that question, concern or feedback are handled efficiently while keeping an open line of communication between parents and school leadership. We appreciate your trust and partnership in fostering a supportive learning environment for all students.
CELEBRATING A SUCCESSFUL ESPORTS TOURNAMENT
Congratulations to all involved in the ECIS + Daigon Esports International Tournament for an outstanding showing! Launching a new competitive program is no easy task, and I want to recognize the dedication, collaboration and perseverance that students and staff have contributed throughout the year leading up to this tournament.
Last week, we proudly watched as students from BSD’s primary and senior schools, along with ISG Jubail’s middle school, competed both internally in a spirited Jamboree and externally with teams across Asia and Europe. Our youngest competitors were in Year 5, and our top ISG Minecraft team was made up entirely of students from ISG Jubail.
This level of participation, enthusiasm and growth is a testament to the strength of our community and the bright future of esports at ISG.
We look forward to hearing the final results soon. In the meantime, please take a moment to reflect and celebrate your achievements. You’ve made us all incredibly proud.

SARA VILLAGE SCHOOL COMMUNITY CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL DAY
On Wednesday, SVS and the Sara Village community celebrated International Day.
Over 40 nationalities were represented in a joyous celebration of cultures, foods and traditions. The students, parents and staff paraded around the school, led by our host country Saudi Arabia. We then enjoyed an incredible international feast of amazing dishes from around the world.
Thank you to all of the parents that took part in the celebration and prepared the amazing food. Thank you to all the students and staff for all of your contributions and thank you to Mrs Smith for organising this fabulous event.
